PALS Molle Webbing on a UL Backpack?

Hi All.

So.... we get the question frequently..... What are those stripes on your packs? What are they for?

Quick answer. It's PALS.... more specifically "Pouch Attachment Ladder System". Well almost. Created by the US Army back in the late 1980's, it's a simple system of using nylon webbing strips stitched onto items in a fashion that integrates a horizontal and vertical super strong attachment.

But why is it on a UL backpack? Coming from a background of selling military tactical gear, we found the PAL's webbing concept to be quite useful, so much so that we thought, for the weight, it's really needed on a UL pack. We did control ourselves, our packs are not all tacticooled up with rows and rows of PALS. :)

I like options and scale-able products. If you want pouches of any type or size, molle lash them on. If you want to tie something or hang something from your PBD Trailpack.... wham.... now you can. Cinch down your load with our straps kit, no problem....And there are so many PALS / Molle webbing add-on's gear items that are already in the marketplace. This simple little concept of a webbing row, just adds so many options to add to your hiking / backpacking adventures.
